Privacy Policy

We built our services to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It covers:

1. What we collect
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver pages, prevent abuse and keep the services secure. These logs are kept for a short period.
- Anonymous usage statistics. Some of our sites use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views, the referring site, country and device type without cookies and without building a profile of you.
- Your account (optional). If you sign in to Direct Openings, we store your email address, the preferences you choose (name, current role, years of experience, roles, cities and tech) and the jobs you save. Sign-in is handled by Supabase, which keeps a login session in your browser. You can delete your account and all of this data at any time from your profile page.
- Things you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Payments (only if you buy something). If we offer paid features, our payment partner (for example Razorpay) processes your payment. We receive your name, email, phone number, the amount and a transaction ID, but never your full card, UPI or bank details.
2. What stays on your device
- Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved in your browser.
- Gita Scroll saves your favourite verses on your own device.
- CTC Decoder runs all calculations in your browser. If you use “Copy link”, your numbers are stored only inside that link, which is never sent to us.
3. Why we use it
To run and secure our services, understand which pages are useful, reply to you, process payments you choose to make, and meet legal and tax requirements.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers who help us run the services, under their own privacy terms: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (accounts and saved data, if you sign in), Google (if you choose “Continue with Google”, and for our email), and our payment partner (if you pay). We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
5. Links to other sites
Job listings link to companies’ own career pages. Once you leave our site, that company’s privacy policy applies.
6. How long we keep it
Server logs: briefly, as set by our host. Account data: until you delete your account. Emails: as long as needed to help you. Payment records: as long as Indian tax law requires (generally up to 8 years).
7. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent, and you can raise a complaint. Email skynettstudio@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
Our services are meant for general audiences. Paid features are only for people aged 18 or over, or with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
9. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, strict security headers and rate limiting, and we don’t keep sensitive data we don’t need.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
